Operate lathes, mills, saws and other fabrication tools and equipment to produce contract and manufacturing parts based on existing print readings. Includes tracking of which tools are used for projects each day. Inspect parts for quality using dial calipers, micrometers, protractors, radius gauges, tape measures, dial-pin gauges, and print readings. First-piece inspection completed and signed by team member and supervisor. Conduct minor maintenance repairs on machines if needed. Report any major necessary maintenance repairs to supervisor. Notify supervisor when needed parts get low in quantity and need to be replaced. Daily communication with management regarding production outputs and maintenance concerns. Use of tool grinding machine for sharpening of tooling. Removal and reassembly of parts after completion of sharpening. Track completion of parts orders using green tag system and NDS. Move completed orders to designated location for inventory to relocate. Assist with the disposal of scrap metal for recycling. General housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a safe and clean work environment. Obey safety rules and exercise caution in all work activities. Success in this position requires ability to: • Communicate and negotiate competitive pricing with vendors; ability to analyze commodity data as it relates to our raw materials. • Read, analyze, and interpret reports, invoices, correspondence, industry and trade journals. • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. • Calculate figures such as discounts, proportions, percentages, conversions (wt./volume, etc.), and volume. • Prioritize duties and to deal with multiple projects and tasks at one time, sometimes in a fast-paced, stressful environment. • Negotiate terms and conditions, delivery schedules, prices, etc. • Communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing as most vendors communicates only in this language. • Ability to work efficiently and independently as well as a valuable team member. • High level of maturity and emotional intelligence.
Experience Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain related studies is preferred. • Current certification or the ability to obtain a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS or an equivalent. Certification as a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from ISM is preferred. • Valid drivers license. • Work experience must be in a short lead-time batch processing manufacturing environment; duration of experience is based on the certification requirement. Preferred experience in a chemical processing/manufacturing environment. • Work experience with Microsoft Office, CRM, ERP software (SageX3), and/or other industry-related software.

Job Description:
This position will perform a variety of accounts receivable and collection support functions as follows: Accounts Receivable, collections, cash receipt accounting; account reconciliation, invoicing; and special projects.
