Duke Energy Foundation Supports the Fund for the Arts Virtual Cultural Pass for Families in Southern Indiana

The Duke Energy Foundation gave a $9,500 grant to the Fund for the Arts for the virtual cultural pass – a free summer learning program providing online access to more than 60 Greater Louisville arts and cultural institutions for children and young adults up to age 21, including families in Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties. The Cultural Pass is valid from June 1 to August 8 and provides pass-holders exclusive access to activities and content they can view throughout the summer from home. https://fundforthearts.org/culturalpass/. Online registration for passes are through your local library’s web site.

The Duke Energy Foundation gave a $5,400 grant to the Arts Alliance of Southern Indiana for little free library news rack boxes designed by local artists in southern Indiana. The boxes, placed at local low income/title one schools, include new books, art supplies and non-perishable food items for students to keep them engaged this summer and promote literacy. Last week a new box funded by our grant was dedicated at Clarksville Elementary.
