Agency Mission Statement or Description:
The mission of The Falls of the Ohio Foundation is to raise funds and support in order to preserve and interpret the scientific, historical and cultural heritage of the Falls of the Ohio and to promote educational initiatives for a better understanding of this unique natural reqource.
The mission of The Falls of the Ohio State Park is to provide opportunities for education and recreation while protecting the reaources.

Focus areas: Education and preserving the scientific, historical and cultural heritage of the Falls of the Ohio.
Impact in community: The Falls of the Ohio Foundation raised funds to open the Falls of the Ohio Interpretive Center in 1994 in partnership with the Indiana Dept. of Natural Resources. The museum exhibits were refreshed in 2016 and a new orientation film was released in October of 2018. The park offers educational opportunities for all ages.
Volunteer Opportunities: The Falls of the Ohio Foundation board is made up of volunteers from the surrounding communities and are always looking for new members to serve on both the Foundation Board and the Community Leadership Council.
