The Louisville Independent Business Alliance (LIBA) is one of the largest independent business alliances in the nation with over 800 members. We are most commonly known as the group behind the KEEP LOUISVILLE WEIRD campaign and the annual Buy Local Fairs. We act as a voice for independent businesses to local government, and we work to educate the community about the social and economic benefits of buying local (for every $100 spent local, $55 stays in the local economy as opposed to only $14 in large chains). We also provide networking opportunities for our members and programming that reflect LIBA’s mission to preserve Louisville’s unique community character.
