Family Ark, and its collective programs, have served Southern Indiana youth and families since 1973. Currently, Family Ark is serving more than 1,200 community members, of those more than 900 are children. Family Ark currently has four main program areas: Foster Care, the Behavioral Health Center (BHC), Lotus House (Opening Fall of 2020) and Community Based Services that include: Home-Based Services and Family Preservation Services. Working collaboratively with the Indiana Department of Children’s Services (DCS), Family Ark has delivered trauma-informed services to thousands of clients and remains responsive to the needs of the Southern Indiana community, updating existing programs or adding new programs as necessary.
