Agency Mission Statement or Description:
Develop New Albany is a non-profit organization dedicated to the economic revitalization, preservation and promotion of Downtown New Albany.
Year established: 1990
Counties/regions serviced: Floyd County
Focus areas: Historic District – Downtown, Midtown, and Uptown New Albany
Impact in community:
Our impact in the community is to preserve the Historic District of New Albany through preservation, education and façade grants. We promote Downtown, Midtown and Uptown New Albany through events and promotion of the local merchants and restaurants. We also coordinate the Farmer’s Market which provides fresh produce, meat, crafts and goods to thousands of community members yearly.
