21st Annual Red Cross Humanitarian Gala Presented by Bales Foundation to be held August 30th, Huber’s Plantation Hall

 

Georgetown, IN, July 27:  The American Red Cross will hold their 21st Annual Red Cross Humanitarian Gala Presented by Bales Foundation on Thursday, August 30th at 6:00 p.m. at Huber’s Plantation Hall, 19816 Huber Road, Borden, Indiana featuring Special Guest Speaker, Josh Bleill, former Indianapolis Colts Ambassador and nationally recognized motivational speaker, and our 2018 Humanitarians representing Clark, Floyd and Harrison Counties.

Hazel and Walter T. Bales are the namesakes for the humanitarian award and received the first award in 1997.  Their legacy continues to be the focus of the gala and the generosity of the Bales Foundation continues to make the event possible.  Humanitarians are selected from outstanding members of the Southern Indiana counties of Clark, Floyd and Harrison who espouse the principle of humanitarianism that is at the heart of the American Red Cross mission.

The doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Cocktails, 6:45 p.m. Dinner and Awards Program with Silent Auction.
