U.S. Small Business Administration Offers Free 2018 Emerging Leaders Program to Small Kentucky and Indiana Businesses |
|
Emerging Leaders is an executive-level, business growth and development program. All program costs are covered by the SBA, and therefore the program is provided free of charge to the business-owner or executive. If the individual paid for the program themselves it would cost nearly $10,000, making it difficult for many small businesses to take advantage of such a program. During the program, participants are given the opportunity to work ON their business, not simply work “in” their business. They will also learn from those who have “been there, done that,” which will help take their business to the next level of growth and success. The group is limited to 18 participants to ensure everyone gets as much as possible from the program. The flyer provides program basics and includes a link to the SBA website which provides more information. The program will start in April and go through September. See the course schedule for additional information about the time commitment. If you are interested in finding out more about the program, we are holding two information sessions: one on Wednesday, February 21 at 5:30 pm and another on Thursday, March 1 at 1:00 pm. Both sessions will be at the Nia Center, 2900 W. Broadway, Suite 100 in Louisville. If you have additional questions, please feel free to give Miguel Hampton a call at 582-5971, ext. 240.
