Women’s Empowerment Weekend (W.E.W) Announces the 4th Annual Power Breakfast and the Cut & Sew Designer Fall Fashion Experience.

(Jeffersonville, IN) – On Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18, 2017, the annual Women’s Empowerment Breakfast and the annual Fall Fashion Experience join forces to bring Kentuckiana a fabulous weekend of fun, fashion, and fellowship with the brand new Women’s Empowerment Weekend! This year the event will be held at the historic 300 Spring in Jeffersonville, IN.
Brought to you by producers Miguel Hampton of F5 Enterprises, LLC, Frances Lewis of Ann DeEvelyn Clothing Company, Yamilca Rodriguez of Louisville Bespoke, and our title partner the Jeffersonville Urban Enterprise Association the Women’s Empowerment Weekend features a Friday night high end fashion show (Fusion: A Fall Fashion Experience) and a Saturday morning W.E.W Signature Power Breakfast.

On Friday, 11/17/2017 the event will kick off with a Ribbon Cutting at 5:00PM celebrating the opening of Women’s Empowerment Weekend. After that Doors will open at 6:00 for guest to enjoy an amazing cocktail hour provided by Best Vineyards. VIP guests will enjoy complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

On Saturday, 11/18/2017 doors will open at 7:30AM allowing guests to indulge in a fantastic full breakfast buffet provided by Sweet Rosemary’s Catering. Our Power Panel will begin speaking at 9:00. This year we are honoring three amazing women with the DC Empower Award. The Power Breakfast is a family friendly event welcoming both women and men of all ages. Tickets are available at  Guests can have access to both events with a weekend pass for only $110.

Power Breakfast
Every year the Power Breakfast features a panel of powerful women who have conquered life challenges such as homelessness or spousal abuse, started their own businesses, or have been inspirational in their communities. This year’s Power Panel includes Angelique Johnson, Ph.D. (CEO/Founder MEMStim), Angie Fenton (Editor in Chief of Extol Magazine/ TV Reporter for Great Day Live!), Nikki R. Jackson (Senior VP & Regional Executive of Federal Bank Reserve of St Louis Louisville Branch), and our host Teah Williams Hampton, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Therapist).

Fashion Show
Nine amazing designers from the Kentuckiana area will showcase their work on the runway. Our design line up includes Frances Lewis of Ann DeEvelyn Clothing Company, Sara Havens of Sara Havens Millinery, Kimberly Phillips of K. Phillips Clothier, Victoria Lea of Victoria Kazue, Lisa Kahl-Hillerich of Roxy Nell, Lanette Freitag of Fel Loom, Renae Kotarski of Anastasi Fashion, Manzini (represented by Tawana Bain of All For Men Threads), and Michelle McGinnis of Anna Francis.
