Kuhn Joins One Southern Indiana as Member Relations and Sales Manager

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW ALBANY, IND. (October 30, 2017) – One Southern Indiana (1si), the chamber of commerce and local economic development organization for Clark and Floyd counties, Ind., announced the addition of Ellen S. Kuhn to their team. Kuhn, a sales professional with more than fifteen years of experience, started on October 23, 2017.

Until recently, Kuhn was the senior sales territory manager for a technology company in Louisville, Ky. She has had experience as a small business owner as well as working for a host of companies in the area and Washington, DC.

“In many instances, the member relations and sales manager is the very first contact companies have with 1si, its mission and its goals,” said Wendy Dant Chesser, president and CEO of 1si. “It was imperative to find the one person who could not only convey our message with professionalism and enthusiasm, but they also had to be responsive to all our members’ needs and concerns, always working to ensure members receive the greatest benefit from their membership. Ellen was the one we felt confident could deliver on these requirements.”
1si has approximately 1,060 members and is looking to increase that number of the next five years. Membership in the organization is a tiered service system with classic yearly membership costing $440. Memberships with more specialized services, including facilitated introductions, multiple listings, priority business services/consultations and discounted advertising costs, range from $770 to $2,770 annually.
