Greater Clark County Schools is preparing for another banner year. So many wonderful things are happening in the district, and Greater Clark hopes you'll want to show support for the students, teachers, staff and administrators who are turning opportunity into excellence.
With more than 20 schools and approximately 11,000 students, you must understand the great needs that exist in the schools and in the classrooms. You can help fulfill those needs!
The Greater Clark Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the 17th Annual Golf Fore Kids charity scramble, presented by Insulated Roofing Contractors. This year's event will be held on Wednesday, October 4th at 1:00 p.m. at Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg, IN.
The title sponsor, Insulated Roofing Contractors, has been a tremendous supporter of this annual event and invites you to be a contributor, too. Last year, the event raised about $50,000, and hopes to surpass that amount this year.
Your sponsorship – whether it's $600 or $6,000 – will help fund Greater Clark Educational Foundation initiatives throughout the school district. Proceeds are used for teacher grants for creative classroom projects, such as teaching elementary students to engage in robotics! Your sponsorship also supports College and Career Readiness programs such as ACT testing for juniors, WorkKeys training and assessment for all high-school students, ongoing support for the transformational Ford NGL implementation, and teacher externships.
This year the programs have expanded to include a new initiative for elementary students. This initiative will help provide leveled reading books and assist elementary students during guided reading groups.
