FKI Security Group Opens New Distribution Center in Grantline Industrial Park West in New Albany, Ind.
Expansion Will Bring 50 New Positions Over Five Years
NEW ALBANY, IND. (August 16, 2017) – FKI Security Group officially opened its new distribution center today during a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by One Southern Indiana (1si). The event featured speakers New Albany Mayor Jeff Gahan, FireKing CEO Mark Essig, CEO of the Carlisle Family LLC, owner of the building, Van Carlisle and 1si President and CEO Wendy Dant Chesser. This will be the first building in the new Grantline Industrial Park West, which was designated as Indiana Site Certified (ISC) Gold by the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) for the City of New Albany in February, 2016.
“FireKing is excited about our expansion in New Albany,” said Mark Essig, chief executive officer. “As a US-based manufacturing, technology, and software supplier, our solutions are used in all 50 states, and approximately 40 different countries around the world. Because of our large geographic coverage, we had many options for our expansion. We chose Indiana – not because it was convenient – but because it is a superior place to do business. The pro-business environment, coupled with an outstanding workforce, brought us back to New Albany.”
