Signature Countertops, Inc. Celebrates Grand Opening in Jeffersonville

 
JEFFERSONVILLE, IND. (August 1, 2017) – Signature Countertops, Inc., celebrated the grand opening of its design center and showroom on Tuesday, August 1st, with a ribbon cutting hosted by One Southern Indiana (1si) at 1611 Fabricon Boulevard, Jeffersonville, Ind. Attending the event were U. S. Representative Trey Hollingsworth and State Representative Karen Engleman, Mayor of Jeffersonville Mike Moore, local officials, 1si President & CEO Wendy Dant Chesser, 1si Ambassadors, staff and the public.



Signature Countertops, Inc. is a natural stone surface provider, specializing in granite, marble, quartz and quartzite counter tops. They are direct importers of natural stone and do a large amount of international business with hundreds of quarries and stone processing facilities in Brazil, Italy, China and India.
The company started in a one-car garage in Scottsburg in 2007, moved to Henryville in 2009, and currently have an 8000-square foot fabrication building in Scottsburg, Ind. The new Jeffersonville design center and showroom is 6000-square foot.

“Scottsburg is where it all started for Signature Countertops, Inc. Scott County has always been supportive of small businesses and small business growth and our story is no different. We built a network of support throughout the community and Southern Indiana region by keeping our word and always serving our clients’ needs first.” said President, Chris Garten. “Opening a location in Jeffersonville was also about better serving our growing clientele. Because of the growth Southern Indiana is experiencing, along with the expansion of the bridges, locating to Jeffersonville just made sense. It allowed us to have a more convenient location for our Southern Indiana base market, but also helped to accelerate our growth into the Greater Louisville market as well.”

Signature Countertops officially opened its design center and showroom on May 2, 2017, and is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The company has 1 part-time and twenty-three full-time employees. The owners and staff support a multitude of charities including- Special Olympics, American Cancer Society, Pekin, Henryville and Scottsburg athletics, Future Farmers of America, to name a few.
