"The BDASI is excited to donate money we collected during our 2017 Home Expo event at Champions Pointe! As an organization, we are proud to have become a strong partner with our local Habitat through direct support from the BDASI and our members. Our two organizations have a common goal of providing safe and affordable housing."
-Charlie Smith; CEO of the BDASI
About the Habitat for Humanity Kessinger Dedication:
The home being dedicated is the first built by Habitat Clark and Floyd that meets the requirements of a special needs person. Tess Kessinger suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury following an automobile accident in February 2006 and has been a wheelchair-bound quadriplegic since that time. Tess works as a Research Assistant for the University of Louisville. This build was supported heavily by the BDASI, the Town of Clarksville, and countless other volunteers and organizations.
