BDA of Southern Indiana Donates to Habitat for Humanity Clark & Floyd at Dedication

NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Habitat for Humanity Clark & Floyd will be hosting a dedication ceremony for their latest build. This dedication will take place on August 4, 2017, beginning at 10am. The address is 309 S. Clark Blvd. in Clarksville. Also at this event, the Building & Development Association of Southern Indiana will be presenting a check for $2000 to HHCF to support their mission and future builds.

As an organization, we are proud to have become a strong partner with our local Habitat through direct support from the BDASI and our members. Our two organizations have a common goal of providing safe and affordable housing."

About the Habitat for Humanity Kessinger Dedication:

The home being dedicated is the first built by Habitat Clark and Floyd that meets the requirements of a special needs person. Tess Kessinger suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury following an automobile accident in February 2006 and has been a wheelchair-bound quadriplegic since that time. Tess works as a Research Assistant for the University of Louisville. This build was supported heavily by the BDASI, the Town of Clarksville, and countless other volunteers and organizations.
