Baptist Health Occupational Medicine Celebrates Grand Opening in Charlestown
CHARLESTOWN, IND. (June 7, 2017) – Baptist Health Occupational Medicine celebrated the grand opening of its new facility at 7725 Highway 62, Suite 100, Charlestown, Ind., Tuesday, June 6th, with a ribbon cutting hosted by One Southern Indiana (1si). The event was attended by State Representatives, Ed Clere and Karen Engleman, local officials, 1si President and CEO, Wendy Dant Chesser,1si ambassadors, staff, and the public.

Baptist Health Occupational Medicine officially opened its doors, on May 30, 2017. Their 12,500-square foot facility offers primary care, occupational medicine, and physical therapy. The Baptist Health Medical Program was established in 1995 and is the region’s largest “dedicated” provider of occupational medicine services. “We provide to our clients 24-hour workers compensation injury care, medical surveillance, physical examinations, drug and alcohol screening, physical therapy and wellness programs,” said Pamela McSwain, director of operations.

Baptist Health Occupational Medicine is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and has seven full-time employees.
