Agency Mission Statement or Description:

Jacob’s Well is a residential program for single mothers and their children who need a helping hand to get a new start in life. The ministry is housed in a structured and safe environment where participants can grow spiritually, gain education and develop healthy life skills.

We partner with other community organizations to provide: spiritual mentoring, educational opportunities, financial training, parenting training and support groups for the moms. We will also focus on the physical, emotional, and educational development of their children.

Our program introduces families to Jesus Christ, the Christian faith and offers mentor teams so that mothers are surrounded with positive female role models and can experience healthy family relationships. Participants meet with a life coach to develop life skills, learn new coping mechanisms, promote healthy relationships and encourage self-reflection. A family advocate is on staff to assist participants with family services and set educational goals based on their interests and strengths to move them into sustainable employment.
