Upcoming Hosparus Volunteer Trainings

Hosparus Southern Indiana needs patient support volunteers in Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Scott and Washington counties and will host free trainings on Thursday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Saturday, April 8, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (lunch and snacks provided) at its New Albany location, 502 Hausfeldt Lane. To register, contact Vonya Gresham, volunteer manager, at (812)542-2809 or vgresham@hosparus.org.

Volunteers help with patient and family support, administrative duties, bereavement care, outreach, fundraising and special events. Hosparus carefully selects volunteers and provides them with comprehensive training specially designed to meet the needs of patients and families. Hosparus volunteers must have available transportation and complete training and an application process.
