3. Tell us about your company.
First Savings Bank’s journey began almost 80 years ago. Currently there are 14 locations in the five Southern Indiana counties of Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison and Washington, we continue our commitment to deliver excellent customer attention and provide products and services our customers need. We offer a complete menu of both consumer and commercial financial products and pride ourselves in knowing that decisions we make are made locally.

In addition to providing traditional banking services, we offer Wealth Management and Planning Services, Triple Net Financing and through our subsidiary, Q2 Business Capital, we offer SBA Lending.

4. What is your current role and how did you became involved in your current occupation? I have been employed at First Savings Bank for over 32 years and currently hold the position of Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager at our Allison Lane office. Banking had always interested me, but being able to assist clients with their personal and business needs is very fulfilling to me. First Savings Bank has been a great place to work and to grow my career in banking.

5. How long have you been an Ambassador? Since 2004

6. What else are you involved in with 1si? I am on the Business Expo Committee

7. What else are you involved in outside of 1si? I have been a member of Jeffersonville Rotary since 2010. A 2009 Graduate of Leadership Southern Indiana, I volunteer at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Junior Achievement. I have also been past Treasurer for Clark County Relay for Life and Jeffersonville Kiwanis, and I Mentor students at Jeffersonville High School.

8. Tell us about your family. I am married to Tommy, have 2 kids, Abby and Robbie, and 3 grandchildren, Brandon, Parker and Max.

9. What do you like to do for fun? Spending time with family.
 
10. Why did you choose to become an Ambassador and how has being an Ambassador helped you/your business? I became a One Southern Indiana ambassador so I could get to know our community and what it has to offer. It also allows One Southern Indiana members to know more about myself and First Savings Bank.
