One Southern Indiana Hosts U.S. Representative Trey Hollingsworth on Thursday, February 23rd |
New Albany, Ind. (February 2, 2017) – One Southern Indiana, the chamber of commerce and lead economic development organization for Clark and Floyd counties, announced today an event featuring U.S. Rep. Trey Hollingsworth, who represents Indiana’s 9th District and sits on the House Committee on Financial Services. The event is a luncheon, and it will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ivy Tech Community College’s Horseshoe Foundation Assembly Center in Sellersburg, Ind. Registration is $25 for 1si members and $35 for future members. The event is sponsored by MAC Construction & Excavating, Inc. and the River Ridge Commerce Center. Rep. Hollingsworth, a native of Tennessee, attended the Webb School in Knoxville and the University of Pennsylvania, graduating from the Wharton School. After graduation, Hollingsworth founded Hollingsworth Capital Partners, which purchases, renovates and repositions underperforming industrial and distribution investment property throughout the nation. In 2008, Congressman Hollingsworth and a group of partners opened Alexin, an aluminum casting plant in Bluffton, Ind. Trey and his wife, Louisvillian Kelly Francis Hollingsworth, married in 2014 and live in Jeffersonville, Ind. Trey was elected on Nov. 8, 2016, and took his oath of office, joining the 115th Congress, on Jan. 3, 2017. Registrations for this event can be made online at www.1si.org/events.
