Rails Craft Brew and Eatery Opens in Clarksville

NEW ALBANY, IN. (October 24, 2016) – Rails Craft Brew and Eatery celebrated its grand opening at their 318 Lewis & Clark Parkway location in Clarksville, Wednesday, October 19st, with a ribbon cutting hosted by One Southern Indiana (1si). The event was attended by Clarksville Town President, Paul Fetter; Indiana State Representative Ed Clere; 1si President and CEO, Wendy Dant Chesser, 1si Ambassadors and staff and the public.

Rails Craft Brew and Eatery officially opened on July 26, 2016 and is owned by David Lawrence. The restaurant serves an All-American cuisine with an International flair within a historic setting. Rails is open Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to midnight. Rails chose the Clarksville location because of its history to the area. The McCulloch Homestead, also known as the Montrose, blended itself to the Rails concept. Rails currently employs 40 employees, of which 20 are part-time.
