Agency Mission Statement or Description:

Mission: Provide services responsive to individual needs.

Founded in 1958 by a group of parents of children with special needs, New Hope Services is one of the largest and most successful nonprofit organizations in the Louisville area and has been publicly recognized as a model in the delivery of developmental services.

Today New Hope's focus is in three primary divisions: Adult Services, Family Services, and Housing & Community Development. Clients include families, seniors, and adults with developmental disabilities.

Adult Services works with adults with disabilities and their families to help them increase vocational and employment skills, daily living skills, community integration, self-care, and household duties to increase their independence. Family programs range from supplemental foods and nutrition counseling to intensive home-based assistance and family planning services. Our goal is to strengthen families by providing a foundation upon which they can flourish. Our Housing program offers safe, affordable and suitable housing in Jeffersonville and other locations for seniors, people with disabilities, and families.
