Integrity Sign Solutions, Inc., to Expand, Add 10 New Positions
NEW ALBANY, IND. (August 1, 2016) One Southern Indiana (1si) announced today Integrity Sign Solutions, Inc., will appear in front of the New Albany City Council this evening to request property tax abatements as company leaders consider expansion opportunities.
Integrity Sign Solutions, Inc., founded in 2010, creates quality, wholesale products to the sign industry. Currently, Integrity Sign Solutions, Inc., (ISSI) is an active member of the 1si Metro Manufacturing Alliance and a 2012 Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County Small Business Revolving Loan Fund recipient. As an entrepreneurial company, ISSI was advised by the Southeast Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) during its growth.
Upon the approval of the tax abatement request, Melissa and Mike Hobbs, owners of ISSI, will purchase land at 4302 Security Parkway in New Albany and begin construction of a new 19,000 square-foot facility. This is the first phase of the project with the second phase to include the addition of 20,000 square feet of manufacturing space in 2020.
The proposed expansion/retention project would be the company’s second in six years. It would include a capital investment of approximately $1.9 million and would result in the creation of approximately 10 new full-time positions. This comes on top of the 16 existing jobs that will be retained, representing a total annual payroll of more than $879,000.
Melissa Hobbs said, “This new facility will allow Integrity to expand our business to meet the growing demands for our custom sign products. Several of our clients throughout the country are gearing up to send even more business our way as soon as we are able to handle it. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered $56,000 in Economic Development for a Growing Economy (“EDGE”) tax credits based on the company’s job creation plans. These incentives are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim them.
