Our Vision is to be a Christ-focused Ministry Serving the Whole Community

We work in a collaborative manner with area churches, businesses, government entities and individuals to provide needed services to our community. We serve in 3 main areas:

1) Basic and Emergency Needs including Wrap Around Services,
2) Mission Engagement/Volunteerism,
3) Community Development from the personal perspective.

We partner with the faith-based community to best utilize the diverse resources of the whole community to provide a vast array of excellent services and opportunities that promote individual and family stability.

Retired & Senior Volunteer Program: Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Scott
All other programming: Southern Indiana

Focus areas:
1) Family Stabilization through Family & Emergency Services 
    and Wrap Around Services
2) Mission Engagement and Volunteerism
3) Community Development

Impact in community: Minimum of 30,000 annually

Volunteer Opportunities: We partner with 160 area nonprofits to provide a limitless number of volunteer opportunities. We have 100 volunteers each week at the Brown-Starks Neighborhood Place location.

1SI members and their organizations can sponsor and attend our events.
1SI members can volunteer at Hope or with one of its 160 nonprofit partners.
1SI members can serve as leaders on our Board of Directors or one of our five Advisory Councils: RSVP of Clark/Floyd, RSVP of Harrison, RSVP of Jefferson & Scott Counties in Indiana; Representative’s Council; Family & Emergency & Programs Council.
