The event was attended by Indiana State Representative, Ed Clere, 1si staff, and Ambassadors and the public. With an expanding family and a strong desire to build a customer focused organization, Security Pro’s owner, Chris Gilbert established the company in 2009 in downtown Jeffersonville, IN. Security Pros was developed to design and provide next generation solutions that meet the specific challenges for organizations that want to provide safety and infrastructure protection. In October 2015, Gilbert moved the business from Court avenue in Jeffersonville to Memphis, Ind. after a two-year search. “Moving from Jeffersonville was no easy choice but was something we thought long and hard about, “said Gilbert. “As luck would have it, our support of youth sports led us to this building in Memphis, IN.” The building was an old school house built in 1929 and has been completely renovated over the last 10 years. Security Pros houses the front portion of the building while Memphis Sports Complex is in the back. “We will now have the space to provide educational training seminars and meetings in house. We were also able to expand our office and warehouse space to 10 times the size of our pervious location. With this move, we have been able to expand our current reach and offerings throughout our service area,” says Gilbert. According to Gilbert, Security Pros takes a vested interest in its solutions and their ability to actually solve the issues their customers face. Gilbert said “we not only design but implement and support our solutions long term and well beyond the initial installation. Our understanding of the industry and our willingness to educate our customers in our technology and what is available to them has always been a key separator for our company.” Gilbert credits early adopters and supporters like One Southern Indiana, Martin Financial, the City of Jeffersonville and other local business leaders for their growth. “Without that local support we would not have been able to build our business to where it is today,” said Gilbert. Security Pros is also vested in giving back to the community. “We realize that by engaging the hearts and minds of our youth at an early age, we can influence the future leaders of our community and shorten the gap between adolescence and adulthood,” says Gilbert “That is why we have chosen to be heavily involved in youth sports or support organizations that have youth sports in mind. We sponsored teams at the Charlestown and GRC Little Leagues, donated security systems to the Henryville, Charlestown and GRC Little Leagues Parks, sponsor the New Washington Basketball Association, Jeffersonville FOP, and are a Hometown Sponsor with the Jeffersonville Parks Department.” ABOUT SECURITY PROS: Security Pros provides electronic security solutions across the residential, commercial and government marketplaces.
