RE/MAX Advantage to celebrate Opening of New Floyds Knobs Location on May 19, 2016

Floyds Knobs, Ind. (May 10, 2016) – Linda Finney, the owner of RE/MAX Advantage, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of a new location in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. In celebration, RE/MAX Advantage invites their clients, neighbors and the general public to a ribbon cutting and networking event on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Highlander Point restaurants will provide a casual food tasting and guests are welcome to tour the building and get to know more about the merchants of Floyds Knobs, The UPS Store and RE/MAX Advantage.

RE/MAX Advantage is expanding due to a strong growth period when the real estate market began to recover in 2011. In 2013, the company experienced a major increase in the number of agents joining the firm and today, the brokerage is ranked third in the Southern Indiana market with $30 million in sales since January.

AML, Inc., a Floyds Knobs construction company, was the general contractor on the $1.4 million project. The two story, brick building, located at 300 LaFollette Station South, Suite 300, in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, features over 8,400 square feet including 2,200 square feet leased to The UPS Store. The $1.8 million investment provides a highly visible location centered in the heart of Floyds Knobs, a community poised for robust residential and commercial growth.

UPS Store owner Adrienne says “We are considered a model store for our franchise and we’re consistently in the top 10 for print services in our region.” Finney formed Floyds Knobs Properties I, LLC and broke ground on the new location in June of 2015. “An energetic real estate market and our agent’s consistent sales volume made the decision to build a logical choice” she says. She went on to say that she believes the quality of the agents is the key to her success. The company’s vision to “provide an environment for people to flourish personally and financially” was the catalyst for the expansion.

The new headquarters reflects the strength of the real estate agents and staff who work there. A high tech classroom within the building is used regularly to provide ongoing education and technology training for the 38 agents, assistants and staff.
