Manufacturers from Kentucky and Indiana attended One Southern Indiana’s 2016 Metro Manufacturing Alliance (MMA) Manufacturing Summit at the Henry Clay in Louisville, Ky., on Friday, May 13. The event’s theme was “Navigating the Road Ahead.” The summit featured three presentations and a panel discussion on topics of particular interest to the industry. Scott Olinger, Vice President in Charge – Louisville Region, for event sponsor Harding, Shymanski & Company, said, “Manufacturing continues to be the backbone of the Indiana and Southern Indiana economies. Our goal is to support these businesses in any way we can to help them be successful. It’s been exciting to see the MMA Manufacturing Summit continue to grow with a variety of representatives from area manufacturers and related businesses in attendance here in Louisville this year. We are proud to have partnered with One Southern Indiana in being the Founding Sponsor of the MMA and bringing this important event to the region that places the spotlight on our manufacturing community. Supporting sponsors included: • APS Workforce Management Solutions, • Fifth Third Bank, • Net Gain Technologies, • Louisville and Indiana Railroad, • New Washington State Bank, • River Ridge Commerce Center, • Prairie Capital Advisors, Inc. • University of Louisville, • and Bronze sponsor Stites & Harbison PLLC. Koetter Construction is the Metro Manufacturing Alliance Presenting Sponsor and Wyatt Tarrant & Combs, LLP sponsored a luncheon after the event for CEOs. The MMA is a program of One Southern Indiana.
