Job Description:
QSHE Manager Primary Responsibilities include:
• Oversight of the Quality System and compliance to the standard.
• Management of Safety and Training programs.
• Management of Housekeeping within all facilities.
• Management of Environmental/Regulatory compliance.
• Proven skills and knowledge relating to Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing operation.
• Ability to implement and manage a registered quality program, preferably ISO9001:2015.
• Ability to lead and facilitate teams.
• Strong training abilities.
• A high level of emotional intelligence and experience in conflict resolution.
• Proven experience in both 5S and Lean practices.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing needs.
• Ability to make decisions independently and hold others accountable.
• Possess strong relationship building, communication, influencing and mentoring skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as: Outlook, Excel, Word, Project and other apps on the 365 platforms.
Experience Required:
Education:
Required: Associates degree in a field related to the position.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering with an emphasis on quality.
Licensing/Registration/Certification:
Required: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
Preferred: ASQ Certified Manager of Quality-Organizational Excellence (CMQ-OE)
Experience:
Required: Per certification requirements plus 5 years in similar position.
Preferred: Chemical industry experience.
