I visited tonight to take advantage of the special APRON fundraiser menu of Chef in a Box. When I saw this on the APRON website, I was pleased to see an Indiana venue option. I collected my dinner after 4 PM and we enjoyed it at home later. I was also happy to have a take home menu to pore over at my leisure. Waitstaff were friendly and welcoming when I arrived for the pickup. The restaurant looks very cozy and inviting and is located in the heart of downtown Jeffersonville with plenty of street parking and nearby lot parking.
The special dinner included crab fritters with jalapeño jelly and chipotle aioli as a starter, which were tender, generous with crab, and enjoyed the sauces. Entree was a delicious sous vide pork shank, cauliflower puree, red eye gravy, and roasted baby root veggies. Melt in your mouth goodness. Finally, dessert of lemon bread pudding with vanilla bean crème anglaise and candied almonds. I'm a certified chocoholic, so I was happily surprised at how much I enjoyed the sweet, the tang, the creamy, and the crunchy. I would order any of these items again if and when they reappear on the menu rotation.
Looking forward to visiting the brick-and-mortar restaurant soon for a sit down dinner with friends to be able to try additional menu items. Also want to mention that I took notice of all of the tables and chairs out front for sidewalk dining and will have this on my short list for al fresco dining. :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 5, 2024
The food is super pretty, and the portions are generous, but the general absence of seasoning means the food is short of delicious.
A friend and I walked over the Big Four Bridge to arrive at Red Yeti just across the river. On a Tuesday at lunchtime, they had plentiful indoor and outdoor seating to offer. They hadn't cleaned the rain off of the outdoor seats, so my friend and I opted to while away some time indoors.
For me, the beer cheese & baguette was the highlight of what we ordered. Crunchy bread and melty cheese made for a rich, textured snack. We also enjoyed some of the local beers they offered on tap.
This food won't ruin your day, but it won't make it, either.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 21, 2024
Amazing time there! I really enjoyed their food. I had an appetizer with a group that we shared. We had truffle parmesan fries and beer/goat cheese with bread. It was so delicious!
Then I ordered Brisket with fries. I was in a mood for Brisket.
I do enjoy the overall. The service was good. I think the waitress was not used to a large crowd. There are no reservation tables. It is first come and first serve. But I love the overall of it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Roger S.Hattiesburg, MS8157May 10, 2024
While in Louisville, decided to run across the river to Indiana. We are glad that we did, because the Red Yeti was great. Seating was fast and we got our appetizer and drinks quickly. Atmosphere was generally pleasant, what I would think a bar should look like. We got the Baba Ganoush for the appetizer and thought it was excellent. My son got the Steak Frites, my wife got the Blackhawk Burger and I got the Kentuckiana Hot Brown. All of the food tasted great and my son said it was the best steak he's had. It's too bad we don't live locally, or else we would be returning. Definitely recommend.

Y'all. I'm telling you - the new menu item of the season for Red Yeti is bomb. Better than mine (don't tell my husband), and worth the trip alone.
Short rib.
I know- I know - you are probably thinking, "what's the big deal?"
Spoken from the heart of a Nebraska farm girl that has a side of beef in her freezer from home, this. Is. Amazing.
I was initially disappointed to hear they only served it with carrots. My comfort food seeking self was yearning for creamy mash or corn pudding, but no. Upon first bite I wanted for NOTHING more than another bite.
Am I still mad at them for getting rid of the lamb meatballs? Yes, and I'm not sure i will totally forgive them until I see them again- but they have greatly redeemed them selves with this.
Hold on - I have more! The season cocktails - every single one of them looked delish. I chose the lumberjack, a complex, warm, appley concoction that warmed my weary soul. I intended on trying another with dinner but optioned for a glass of red wine.
Beautiful clean bathrooms, staff that was charismatic and kind, even when I came an hour before close....
Only downside was the nonworking WiFi, which makes it hard for the working professional multitasking while dining.
Will I be back? Yes.
Would I be back weekly with the readdition of the lamb meatballs? A million yesses.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Jun 29, 2021Previous reviewMy FAVORITE place in Jeffersonville. Super great service and super clean! We had the Brisket sandwich! Truly the best I have ever had! Hubby had the fries and they were great. I had the carrots, can't even describe them. But I sure would like to learn how to make them. Also had the burger with Mac and cheese! Both had so much flavor! Great find

Oh my gosh this is the third time I have been to this establishment, it is super cute, friendly staff ,quick service and nice patio to sit on.
Every time I have got the brisket tacos they are today for inconsistently the same every time. I truly look forward to coming here when I am in town. I wish I had the recipe to the brisket in the chipotle sauce.
Three tacos is not enough for me. I love them so much I need four.
I would say my only complaint is that their tip automatically defaults to 30%, which I think is ridiculous but this is my opinion. I guess that is expected going right for a tip today, but I think it's a little high and tricky for those not paying attention!!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Sep 24, 2023Previous reviewFantastic, Excellent food, Excellent service!
Very quaint place. I had the Brisket Tacos super tasty and yummy! Best dining out experience I have had in awhile!
Lovely outside dining experience. Motorcycles tend to go up and down but it was still enjoyable!
The Truffle fries were awesome , could have been more crisp but otherwise super yummy! I accidentally left my leftovers on the table. Subconsciously I knew I didn't need to eat more!
Sorry I forgot to get the picture of the food!!!
Trust me it was good! I only give 5 star for excellent all around !
Gluten free items , so far I have not got a reaction.
Vegan items on menu
FYI - I went back a second time ! Just as good. - Mike B.Naperville, IL05535Mar 24, 2024
Food was amazing! Had the steak frites with truffle fries, shrimp and grits, and cheese with baguette. Finished with a daily special berry crumble. All were so delicious and highly recommended. The house Old Fashioned is good stuff too!

Excellent service, great atmosphere and music. I am vegan and was thrilled to have delicious vegan options. The Baba Ganoush app or was to die for. My non vegan coworker even loved it (and he's very picky). The bartender made me excellent mint juleps. I love this place and will def go back next Derby.
